About the event

Clapham Terrace Community Primary School is a firm believer in the importance and benefits of art for children. They are one of only a few primary schools to have been awarded the Artsmark Platinum Award.

Following on from the success of the Whitnash Primary School exhibition in March 2018, LSA is delighted to support Clapham Terrace Primary School by hosting this exhibition of work by children in years 3 to 6.

Each year group has worked with LSA member Lynne Gougeon (This is My Art and Soul) to work in different media to interpret and demonstrate "Man's Influence on the Environment". Year 3 have built 3D bird's eye views of how man has impacted the land. Year 4 has captured the tiny details in the urban environment through photography. Year 5 has looked out into space and Year 6 has painted the view through their window.

This promises to be an inspiring and thought provoking exhibition for both children and adults.

Admission is free.
