I am hugely inspired by nature; big skies and wide open spaces. I am drawn to distant horizons and contrasts in both shape and colour. I try to capture the intensity of emotions a landscape can evoke through bold colours and confident shapes.

Lynne painted a photograph of a place that's special to me and she captured it perfectly. Now when I sit at my table I can lose myself back in that world and it releases all kinds of memories and emotions.
